Help Eddie!
In an effort to introduce JumpRopeSprint racing in as grand fashion as possible, I am planning an inaugural event for this summer in Los Angeles. Therefore, to attract Olympic caliber athletes, my goal is to offer at least $5,000.00 to the winner of the men’s open event, and at least $5,000.00 to the winner of the women’s open event, in addition to lesser prizes for other top finishers in these events. As a result, I need at least $20,000.00 in prize money.
The prize money is my biggest obstacle at the moment, and that is why I am asking for your help. You can either donate directly to the prize money fund, or you can purchase our products, and Fifty Percent (50%) of the purchase price will be added to the prize money fund. With your help, I really believe I can make it happen. The current Balance of Prize Money Fund is: $00,000.00.
The L.A. event is set to occur at the College of the Canyons on August 7, 2010. The event will raise money for a charity dedicated to brain cancer research and founded by Coach Lindie Kane, head track coach at the College of the Canyons. Any “Help Eddie” funds not used for prize money will be donated directly to the charity. This is my contingency plan to assure you that the funds will be put to good use no matter what happens.
Yet another way to help is to add a JumpRopeSprint element to your exercise routine or recreational activity. As more people participate in the sport, it will receive greater attention and have a better chance of being accepted by the existing sports establishments. I encourage you to express support by joining our club as either an active member, who has tried the sport, or as a fan, who likes the idea of this exciting new competition.
Yours virtually,
Eddie Ruggle |
